This page shows a list of all the various shell extensions you have installed, and lets you block them from within Opus. It performs a similar function to the NirSoft ShellExView tool, except that tool blocks shell extensions globally.
Shell extensions implement things like context menus and information columns. If you find one that causes problems with Opus, you can use this page to disable it and see if the problem is resolved.
The category list on the left shows all the various categories of shell extension. Context Menu is probably the most used category - and on Windows 10 and 11, Context Menu UWP implements the "new style" of context menu item.
You can use the search field at the top to search extensions by name. To block an extension, select it in the list and click the Block button. Blocked extensions show a "no" icon in the list, and can also be found listed in the Blocked category. You can unblock an extension in the same way.
Right-click an extension to block or unblock it, and to get more information about it by searching for it on Google.
The page menu in the top-right corner of the page has commands to block items manually, and to import and export your block list if you want to move it to another system.
