Status Bar Popup Menus and Commands
You can use HTML <a> links in the status bar definition to add clickable links to run commands or show popup menus.
Run a command
Use the href attribute to specify a command to run. For example,
// Add about link <a href="help about">About</a>
This would display the word "About" on the status bar as a clickable link. Clicking it would run the Help ABOUT internal command.
Show a popup menu
Use the id attribute to specify the name of a toolbar to show as a popup menu. The toolbar must have previously been created via the Customize system. For example,
// Add popup menu <a id="MyCommands"><%svg viewBox="0 0 32 32"><circle cx="16" cy="16" r="12" fill="red"/></svg></a>
This uses SVG to display a red dot. Clicking the dot pops open the toolbar called "MyCommands".
Tooltips
You can add tooltips to your links or popup menus using the text attribute. For example,
// Add about link <a href="help about" text="Shows the about dialog">About</a>
