This page lets you control which root (top level) items are shown in the folder tree, and the order they appear in.

Some root items have specific options - these are shown on the right, below the General options section, when the item is selected.

Note that even if a folder is hidden from the tree, it will be displayed if you navigate to it or a folder underneath it. For example, if FTP sites are not shown normally in the tree, but you navigate to an FTP site, a temporary entry will be added to the tree as long as you are in the site - it will be removed again when you navigate away (subject to the Remove dynamically added folders option described below).

General options

These options apply to the tree in general, not to specific folders.

Display under the Desktop item

Many items have an option called Display under the Desktop item. If this is turned on, the item will be shown as a child of the Desktop folder. If turned off, the item will be at the root level.
