If a [[:file_operations:renaming_files:advanced_rename:rename_scripts|rename script]] implements the **[[..:scripting_events:ongetcustomfields|OnGetCustomFields ]]**event, the method receives a **GetCustomFieldData** object whenever the Rename dialog runs the script.

$$ Returns a **[[customfielddata|CustomFieldData]]** object, that the script can use to add custom fields to the //Rename// dialog. Each property added to the object in this method will be create a new field in the dialog, allowing the user to supply additional information to your rename script.
