This category contains options that control the behavior of the main part of the Lister, the area that displays files and folders.

  * **[[~mouse]]**: Options relating to the behavior of the mouse in file displays (selecting files, etc.)
    * **[[~mouse:background_events]]**: Lets you configure what happens when you double-click the empty space in a file display.

  * **[[~options]]**: General options that control the behavior of the file displays.

    * **[[~options:tab_key]]**: What happens when you press the <kbd>Tab</kbd> key.
  * **[[~status_bar]]**: Configure what information is displayed on the status bar at the bottom of the Lister.
